Smoothie Bowls

are a delightful way to start the day with a burst of flavor and nutrition. These vibrant bowls are not only visually appealing but also packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. The base of a smoothie bowl is typically a thick blend of fruits, such as bananas, berries, or mangoes, mixed with yogurt or plant-based milk.

Ingredients

Smoothie Bowl Ingredients (makes 2 bowls)

  • 1 banana 

  • 3 Cups Frozen Fruit of your choice 

  • 1/4 Cup Coconut Water, Apple Juice, Milk or Orange Juice 

  • 1 Tbsp Maple syrup or honey 

  • Optional add-ins : Nut Butters, Protein Powders, yogurt etc.

Toppings (optional) 

  • Fresh Chopped Fruit   

  • Granola 

  • Nut Butters

  • Shredded Coconut 

  • Honey 

  • Hemp seeds, Chia Seeds etc 

Directions

  1. Add the frozen strawberries and bananas to a blender (using a high-power gives the best results) and blend on low until they have created a coarse, somewhat sandy mixture.

  2. Add the liquid you choose a few Tbsp at a time and blend on low, scraping down the sides as needed, until the mixture comes together in a thick “soft serve” consistency.

  3. Add to bowl, add toppings and enjoy!
